Join us at The Collective, the NEW ARTIST INCUBATOR in Caldwell, for a 4-week course, Monday afternoons, beginning May 12 and skipping Memorial Day. You'll learn basic watercolor skills like water control, pigment mixing, brush techniques, wet in wet, wet on dry, dry brushing, charging, dragging, smoothing, blending, lifting, and more. Join us every Tuesday at the Caldwell Artist Collective for an inspiring and dynamic Open Studio session focused on still life. This ongoing class is designed for artists of all levels who seek to deepen their artistic practice, refine their technique, and explore the timeless tradition of still life drawing.
Figure Drawing Class
Join us every Thursday evening at the Caldwell Artist Collective for Figure Drawing classes, where artists of all levels can deepen their practice by drawing from a live model. These sessions focus on honing observational skills, improving anatomy knowledge, and refining drawing techniques.
The class will feature a variety of models, including fully clothed, partially clothed, and nude, offering diverse opportunities to explore gesture, form, and proportion.
While no formal instruction is provided, each session is led by an experienced docent to maintain a structured environment for independent practice. Artists are encouraged to apply their understanding of anatomy and perspective while developing their individual style.
